Our store has grown and changed over the years, as has our family. We are more than your typical gas station, but an everything stop, where you can fuel your car, truck, tractor, boat, snowmobile & belly! Starting as a simple gas station by a second generation fuel man & local entrepreneur James Larkin. His wife, Sheila, soon found counter space to make what she loved, homemade food.  For years the sandwich counter operated in a 4 by 6 foot space before they quadrupled its size to its current space and full service bakery and deli.  

 

On one extra busy summer, their daughter Mary came home to help for the season. By chance or good luck, Stephen Jellie caught wind at the gas pumps that the food was good. He started with a reuben sandwich & a friendly conversation and ended with a wedding bells! Stephen and Mary decided to make Tupper Lake their home and to continue the tradition of family hospitality here at Larkin's Junction Depot.

Look for an affordable variety of fuels. Seasonal goods like firewood, spring flowers, christmas trees, worms & propane. And what makes us most special is our homemade food. Try our classics, from specialty made to order French Canadian meat pies to share, or our individual, ready to take home lasagna, meatloaf & shepherds pie dinners. Stop by during the week for lunch specials or get in early on the weekend to grab a fresh baked muffin or sandwich to go on your next adventure! If you miss us, we have a grab and go cooler full of soups, salads & prepared meals, all homemade and delicious. While we can't promise everyone will find true love, we sure hope we can give you a taste of something made with love.
